I am a South African based Bladesmith, in the Town of White River in Mpumalanga.
Bladesmithing is a passionate hobby that I started a few years back, although knives have always been a part of my life.
It is a right of passage to recieve a pocket knife as a young boy and in this a father instills his trust and respect that you will handle a knife as a man. I recieved mine at the age of 7, it was a cheap Okapi but I can remember it as clear as day.
All my knives are hand forged from Carbon steels, I Use, 5160, 1070 and 52100 Steels mainly, Or Handcrafted from Stainless steel.
I very seldom make the same pattern twice , and if i do the geometry is most certainly different as each knife is crafted to suit the use of the prospective owner or the specific task it was designed to undertake ,
All the sheaths that accompany each individual knife is hand crafted by myself.
I have a small gallery of knives that are for sale, these fund my Hobby and future projects so please feel free to contact me.
I Have a fondness for Culinary Knives , especially of Asian design, the simplicity and ease of use fascinates me , nothing compares to a well crafted blade in the Kitchen
